Paradise is an exceptionally beautiful area and is recognised with World Heritage status. The Paradise Trust property, on which you will be playing, has been hosting tourists since the mid-1880s. In more recent times it has become well known as a location for many scenes in the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies.

Limited accommodation is still available at the Paradise Trust Property. Contact discgolfwanaka@xtra.co.nz
Accommodation is available for a minimum of four nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday)
NB you don't have to stay all four nights but we need to pass on the four night exclusive charge
that we are charged by the Paradise Trust to make the books balance!

Event Fees
The price of entry is $99 for juniors, $129 for Amateurs and $149 for Pros.
This includes:
1. Limited run tournament disc for Amateur players
2. Delicious hot lunches on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
3. Jungle of Fame dress up Party on the Saturday night at the Garden of Eden
4. A spectacular beach forest lit up moonlight disc golf session on the Sunday night

The Vortica Disc Golf 2025 Paradise Plates is again being hosted by
Disc Golf Wanaka. Disc golf is a valued part of Wanaka's sporting and outdoors culture. We now have five disc golf courses in the Upper Clutha region... Lismore Park, Eely Point, The Confluence, Luggate Red Bridge and Lake Hawea. Combined, these courses host thousands of rounds every year for locals, visitors from around NZ and overseas. As a result, despite it's small permanent population, Wanaka punches above its weight with a strong contingent of top ranked disc golfers calling Wanaka home. We are again looking forward to hosting you at the Vortica Disc Golf 2025 Paradise Plates and if you haven't had the privilege of hucking plastic in one of the most hyzer-bombingly scenic places in New Zealand, you're in for a treat!*
